    Benson Shilongo Got 3-Years Contract To Egyptian Ismaily SC

    The Namibian international star Benson Shilongo a striker at Smouha SC in Alexander, Egypt. 
    Benson Shilongo born in Ongwediva, Namibia and currently plays at Smouha Sporting Club (Smouha SC) in Egypt. He joined the team on 01 July 2018 on contract from Pyramid Football Club. The Alexandria-based Smouha Sport Club had signed deal to transfer a 26-year-old Namibian player from Pyramids Football Club on 3-years contract. Mohamed Farag Amer, the President of this Egyptian club, announced on tweet, that the Club had made an official offer to obtain the services of Shilongo during the winter transfer.  And now again another Egyptian Football Club,  Ismaily SC want him and already signed a deal to get Namibian star from Smouha.  Mr. Amer confirmed the arrival of the letter of intent of the Board, without specifying the amount of the offer. Shikongo could soon land in the Tunisian Sport League during the next period of winter transfers.  He has played 12 games so far and scored 4 goals.

    Shilongo will replace Nigerian forward striker Okiki Afolabi who had his contract being terminated. With Ismaily that qualified for the CAF Champions League on a group stage, Shilongo is expected to add more bite to the new team's strikeforce. Shikongo joined Platinum Stars in South Africa from Botswana's national club, Gaborone United Sporting Club in July 2016. 

    Locally Shikongo started playing armature soccer at a very young age, with Oshakati City in 2009-2011, Ramblers 2011-2012 and Tigers before he went to play with Blackburn in South Africa and then later Botswana before transferred to Egypt.
