For the past two weeks, VKontakte has been registering an increase in activity on the social network. People began to communicate more often on this platform, watch videos and news there, and also add friends to themselves. 

As the press service of VKontakte reported on March 10, the number of video views on this social network increased by 40%. Users also began to upload short vertical clips to the platform twice as often. 

"On March 8, the social network reached a record high of 1.75 billion video views and 600 million video views per day ," the press service of VKontakte reports. 

The daily audience of the platform has grown over the past two weeks by 300,000 people. This growth, according to the company's forecasts, will continue. Daily registrations increased by 20%. Also, people have become 20% more likely to add friends to themselves and 12% more to call each other on VKontakte.  

A day earlier, the social network announced the largest support program for bloggers in the history of the company. Authors will receive 100% of the income from monetization tools.
