Since WhatsApp has started rolling out multi-device support for a limited number of users, with a feature that allows users to use their WhatsApp account on up to four devices simultaneously without needing to have their primary device connected to the internet.

WhatsApp launched the WhatsApp Business API to allow businesses to connect with their customers on the platform.WhatsApp continues to use End-to-End Encryption to protect the privacy and security of users' conversations, preventing anyone from intercepting or reading messages sent on the platform.

WhatsApp introduced the Disappearing Messages feature that enables users to send messages that will disappear after a set period of time, which can be set to either 7 days or 24 hours. WhatsApp also introduced the View Once feature, which allows users to send photos or videos that can only be viewed once. After the recipient has opened the media, it will disappear from the chat.

It's important to note that WhatsApp may have released new updates. If you're interested in knowing which groups you have in common with someone, the best option would be to manually compare your group memberships with that person.

There is a trick that allows users to see which WhatsApp groups they have in common with someone else. The trick involves exporting your WhatsApp chat history and then analyzing the data using a third-party tool. Here's how it works:

  1. Open WhatsApp and go to the chat of the person you want to check.
  2. Tap on their profile picture to open their profile.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of their profile and tap on "Export Chat".
  4. Select the option to export the chat without media.
  5. Choose the app or service you want to use to share the exported chat file.
  6. Download the "WA Reader" tool, a third-party app that can analyze your chat history.
  7. Open the WA Reader app and select the exported chat file.
  8. The app will show you a list of all the groups you have in common with that person.

It's important to note that using third-party tools to analyze your WhatsApp data can potentially compromise your privacy and security. You should always exercise caution and make sure to download tools from reputable sources. Additionally, this trick may not work with newer versions of WhatsApp as the app continues to evolve and update its features.
