Young African player Tapiwa Simon Musekiwa was arrested in Rundu today after playing for           African Stars 5-1 victory against Julinho Sporting. Tapiwa has been at the center of the storm.
Tapiwa Simon Musekiwa, the player that wrote a declaration under oath that he played for Young African Football Club under a false name, was arrested by immigration officials and taken into custody in Rundu, whereafter he will be sent to Windhoek immigration head office for further investigation.

The news coming from immigration is that he will be given 49 hours to leave the country as he is in contravention of the immigration act. His work visa with African Stars was due to expire on 22 January 2019. When contacted, the administrator of the Namibia Premier League, Tovey Hoebeb said he had just heard about it but still needed to verify the source. He said once he got that he would call the two teams to get their inputs as well. Young African coach Maleagi Ngarizemo said the WhatsApp message was forwarded to him, but he had in the meantime heard that they let Musekiwa go and asked him to report to Windhoek immigration on Monday, and took his passport.
