GIFA Exchange, one of the world’s fastest-growing cryptocurrency exchanges is currently under maintenance. The exchange will be back online within 72 hours. GIFA Token is undergoing system maintenance for an upgrade to a new MERGE. Trading, withdrawals, and deposits are suspended during this maintenance period.
The Northern Cyprus-based company went offline at 9 am GMT on Saturday for maintenance that was initially scheduled earlier this month, but was extended with additional 72 hours to allow a complete ETH MERGE integration. The Ethereum upgrades consist of a set of upgrades that improve the scalability, security, and sustainability of the network. Although each is being worked on in parallel, they have certain dependencies that determine the network deployment.
The technical team is working around the clock to ensure a smooth upgrade and resolve the issues that have been identified. GIFA Token’s website now is unaccessible and the mobile application especially the GIFA Wallet has limited access. This means that the new upgrade will take several hours before the trading platform relaunch.
All users have been pre-informed about the GIFA Token upgrade. Popular crypto exchanges such as Coinbase have also gone offline or slowed down due to similar issues. GIFA Token's users should rest assured that their digital assets and funds are completely protected and safe.
